저저번주 토요일의 앨범 발매기념 공연은 내가 주도적으로 진행을 한 것이라면 저번주 토요일은 미디어버스가 주도적으로 진행한 진 메이킹 워크샵 시간이었다. 사실 진이라는 것을 규정하는 것이 간단한 듯 보여도 결코 그렇지도 않고 여기저기에서 사용되는 용어들이 정리되지 않고 있는 점만 보아도 지속적인 논의의 문제들을 가지고 있는 듯 했다. 워크샵 이후에 관계자들끼리 모여서 몇가지 논의를 했었다. 지금 그것에 대해서 내 생각을 말해보고 싶다. 보통 무슨 일을 하고자 할때에는 명분이라는 것이 있기 마련이다. 그리고 그렇게 형성된 경험이라는 것을 공유해보고 싶다. 내가 지금에 와서 더 뼈저리게 그끼는 것은 어떻게 이렇게 뭔가를 시도해 보지는 않으면서 미리 상황판단, 가치판단만 하는 사람들이 많냐는 것이다. 아니면 조금만 된다 싶으면 부피부터 키울려고 하거나.
